01 · PROBLEM & SOLUTION
Problem

A trip request turns into WhatsApp back-and-forth, a copy of last month's Canva doc, and hours reformatting hotels, flights, and activities by hand. Then a client asks to change one hotel, and the whole document gets reopened, edited, and re-exported as itinerary_final_v14.pdf.

Solution

AI drafts the first structured version of the itinerary from a plain description of the trip. An agent verifies and refines it, then shares one live portal link, not a PDF that goes stale the moment something changes.

02 · FEATURES
AI-drafted itineraries an agency can safely regenerate
Manual edits persist through every AI redraft
A branded client portal, plus a PDF, ready to share
03 · TECHNOLOGY & ARCHITECTURE

Every trip is one record, not a document. The AI can regenerate a draft at any point, but a diff against the agent's own edits runs first, so a regeneration never silently overwrites judgment a human already exercised. The client portal and the exported PDF both read from that same record, so there is exactly one source of truth per trip.

04 · FAQ

What is Itiner?

An AI itinerary builder for travel agencies, DMCs, tour operators, and independent consultants: it drafts day-by-day trip plans, publishes client portals, and exports branded PDFs.

Who is it built for?

Travel agencies, boutique tour operators, destination management companies, and luxury planners who build custom itineraries for clients rather than selling packaged tours.

Can Itiner replace Canva or Google Docs for itinerary planning?

Yes, it replaces the manual document with a structured builder, reusable templates, branded PDFs, and a live portal that updates automatically after a change.

Does an AI redraft ever overwrite my edits?

No. The regeneration flow checks against edits already made and merges around them rather than replacing the whole draft.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, no card required, so an agency can build its first trip and client portal before upgrading.

05 · LAUNCH STORY

Started in 2025 as a hackathon prototype called TripLens: AI-drafted itineraries, nothing else. Rebuilt for actual use in 2026 as Itiner, after personally calling 150+ regional travel agencies to hear what actually broke in their itinerary workflow, not from a survey.
